Christmas is coming! ❤️
And just in case you’re still on the hunt for some last-minute Christmas inspiration, I’ve put together my favourite easy Christmas desserts for you.
From my amazing no bake Ice Cream Pudding Bombe that takes about 15 minutes to assemble, to my Easy Eton Mess that everyone can enjoy, here are my go-to desserts when entertaining a crowd.
Easy Eton Mess
For a fun Christmas dessert, try my Easy Eton Mess. This no bake gluten free dessert is a deliciously messy mix of fresh strawberries and raspberries, whipped cream and crunchy meringue. If you’ve ever tried pavlova – a dessert staple here in Australia – you will fall head over heels for Eton Mess. It’s basically a deconstructed pav – but it’s SO much easier and quicker to make.
White Chocolate Cheesecake
A Christmas classic, who can say no to a slice of baked White Chocolate Cheesecake? With a crumbly cookie crust, and a creamy white chocolate cream cheese filling, it's one deliciously rich dessert. The best part? You can make it ahead of time for easy entertaining. And my recipe doesn’t require a water bath - simple.
Brownie Cake
I just love this Brownie Cake. It has a beautiful texture and just about melts-in-your-mouth, with a crisp, meringue-like crust. It's really simple to make, but it tastes like it’s from a high-end restaurant. I promise everyone will love it! A must for chocoholics.
Amazing Ice Cream Pudding Bombe
It's hard to believe this gorgeous Ice Cream Pudding Bombe is so easy to make. Using store bought ingredients, it comes together in a flash AND it can be made ahead of time. If you're having a summer Christmas like we are in Australia, it's the perfect way to cool down after a warm meal.
Classic Trifle
If you're looking for a super easy, no bake dessert that will feed a crowd, you can't go past a Classic Trifle. Mine is made with store bought cake, custard and plenty of fresh fruit so it's quick and easy to throw together the night before. It's a light, fresh and fruity dessert - win!
Black Forest Cake
Enjoy the delightful combination of chocolate, cherries and cream in this Christmas fave, Black Forest Cake. I've put together a really simple recipe that results in a magnificent layer cake, perfect for your family and friends. Two layers of chocolate cake, sandwiched together with sweet cherry jam and plenty of whipped cream. Enjoy!
Chocolate Mousse Cake
You only need 5 ingredients to make this Chocolate Mousse Cake. It’s completely no bake, so you don't even have to worry about turning the oven on. And you can easily make it ahead of time. And trust me, everyone at your Christmas dinner will go crazy for that light, melt-in-your-mouth choc filling.
Easy Apple Crumble
For a warm dessert that can easily feed a large group, try my Apple Crumble. Juicy, crunchy apples topped with a cinnamon oat crumble - the best! You can also easily double the recipe. Served warm, alongside a big scoop of ice cream, custard or cream.
Eggnog Cake
Love eggnog? You’ll go mad for this softly spiced Eggnog Cake. A fluffy and soft yellow cake made with cinnamon, nutmeg and creamy eggnog, all frosted with eggnog buttercream. Yes please!
Turtle Pie
For a decadent dessert that can make a day or two ahead of time, there's no better choice than my Turtle Pie. Featuring a homemade pecan cookie crust, a creamy brown sugar caramel and a two-ingredient chocolate ganache, it’s a truly indulgent dessert.
Mini Pavlovas
Instead of making a big pavlova this Christmas, try making my 2-ingredient Mini Meringues. They're so easy to make and you can serve everyone their own individual pav. Top with dollops of homemade whipped cream and plenty of fresh fruit for a sweet dessert.
