My new cookbook Something Sweet is OUT. You can now find it in bookstores and major retailers all across the country. I’ve spent the week doing exciting things including my official book launch and my first TV appearance.

What a week! My debut cookbook, Something Sweet is HERE and I couldn’t be more excited. There is nothing quite like holding your book in your hands for the very first time – especially since I started writing my cookbook almost 18 months ago.
I’ve had an incredible week celebrating including flying to Sydney and being on TV for the first time, signing hundreds of books and meeting so many readers at my official book launch.
My beautiful cookbook is now out on bookshelves all across the country and in major retailers. And it’s already trending as a best seller on Amazon! I’m so grateful!
You can buy my cookbook today.
My first TV appearance

One of the highlights of my week was having the chance to go on live TV. Who would have thought I would ever have the chance to do this?! I was so excited and nervous.
I flew up to Sydney and had the privilege of being on The Morning Show on Channel 7. Larry Emdur, Kylie Gillies and the whole Channel 7 team made me feel so welcome and I was so excited to show them my famous Apple Cake recipe.
Of course, they loved it just as much as you do! I told them how it’s my most popular recipe on the blog and how we just HAD to include it in my new book. You can find it on page 81 of Something Sweet.
You can watch my Television Demo.
My official book launch

Thursday night was one of the most special nights of my life. Readings Chadstone hosted my official book launch with the wonderful Emelia Jackson, my friend and baking queen.
It was a packed house and I loved chatting to Emelia about baking and cookbooks, while readers and friends snacked on the Big Batch Brownies, Honey Joy Slice and Lemon Blueberry Cookies I had made. You can find all three recipes in Something Sweet.
I also loved talking about the joy of baking. How I feel like it’s my mission to bring the joy of baking back into people’s lives, whether it’s the joy that comes with eating it, making it or sharing it.
But my absolute favourite part of the night was having the chance to sign your books and chat to you about your favourite Sweetest Menu recipes. I’m so grateful to everyone who came and braved the rain to support me and the book. I won’t forget this night any time soon! ❤️
Signing books

Another super cool thing I got to do this week was sign a HUGE stack of my books at the Booktopia office in Sydney. The team made the whole experience really fun – even though it was a bit more tricky to do being left-handed.
Thank you!
To everyone who has bought my book, I just want to say a sincere thank you. I’ve received so many messages on Instagram this week from readers saying their books have arrived – and it’s honestly been SO wonderful, it’s almost overwhelming!
Please keep sending me photos, DM’s and emails as you spot Something Sweet cookbook out in the wild, and as you start to bake your way through the book. I can’t WAIT to see it!
This is a dream come true and it wouldn’t have happened without you!
My next event
And for anyone who missed out, you can come see me at my next cooking demo at Robinson’s Bookshop at The Glen. Tickets are free.
